About Me

Christina Sidorowych is a medical illustrator, visual problem solver, animator, graphic designer, and content designer. Originally from the suburb of Chicago, Lake Zurich, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Visualization (BVIS) in May of 2017.

From the city of wind dressed in shining lights to the ivy covered walls of Wrigley field, Christina was inspired by the beauty and diversity of the city, she spent most of her time drawing and painting her natural surroundings.  Her curiosity of nature and science, and attention to detail in art led her to Ames, Iowa where she received both a bachelors of Arts in Biological and Pre-Medical Illustration and a minor in Biology.

The freedom and importance to illustrate and educate a dynamic journey of the body is one of the main reasons why Christina wanted to be a biomedical illustrator, the ability to draw what cannot be seen without saying a word truly is a valuable ability. Christina’s attention to detail and color allows her to express her illustration with precision and depth.
